The theme of the garden was designed to highlight the ever more popular trend of employers who encourage both office and home working and to show how this space can be both stimulating and contemplative.

The garden, Sponsored by Merrill Lynch combined a contemporary glass fronted open plan office space within a wider garden. The centre piece of this was a ‘silent’ water cascade and calming pool with surface water disappearing into square voids. This rectilinear theme was enhanced by cubes of oak set at differing levels that appeared to ‘float’ through surrounding planting. Lawns, seating areas, sculpture and a wonderful array of plants all combined to achieve this Gold medal winning garden.
