The 'Contemporary Man's garden was the first garden at Chelsea designed specifically for men with features, colours and textures to reflect the lifestyle of the modern man.
Situated on main avenue, this large garden was one of Chelsea's most popular gardens in 2001. The focul point of the garden was a large circular stainless steel pool with central vortex, set in a Roman bath like amphitheatre of limestone. The pool was fed by a curtain waterfall and rill with bold planting surrounding various entertaining areas including an inbuilt fridge within a huge curving deck - essential!
The whole garden produced a dynamic, stylish feel with male references such as circular rusting pergola rings, a crushed concrete mulch, stylish modern furniture and of course the bar!
